This website is operated by Cameron Bird, an Authorised Representative of deVere Group. For the purposes of applicable data protection law — including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679 and the UK GDPR — Cameron Bird is the data controller in respect of personal data collected through this website.

2. What data we collect and why

We only collect personal data that you actively provide to us. We do not buy data, scrape data, or use tracking-based advertising.

Contact & enquiry form

Data collected: Full name, email address, phone number (optional), estimated UK pension value, and a free-text description of your situation.

Purpose: To respond to your enquiry, assess whether we can help, and (where you have consented) to follow up with relevant guidance.

Legal basis: Your explicit consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), provided via the consent checkbox on the form.

Microsoft Bookings (calendar)

Data collected: Name and email address, provided directly to Microsoft when you book a call.

Purpose: To schedule and confirm a consultation call.

Legal basis: Legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) — facilitating a meeting you have requested.

Cookies & website analytics

Data collected: Cookie preferences (stored locally). We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising cookies.

Purpose: To remember your cookie consent preference.

Legal basis: Your consent, obtained via the cookie banner on your first visit.

3. How we use your data

We use the personal data you provide solely for the purposes described above. Specifically, we may use it to:

  • Respond to your enquiry or question
  • Assess your financial situation and whether our services are appropriate for you
  • Schedule and conduct a consultation call
  • Send follow-up information directly relevant to your enquiry
  • Comply with our regulatory obligations as an Authorised Representative of deVere Group

We will not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-party services

This website uses a small number of third-party services. Each processes data only as necessary to provide their function.

Netlify — Website hosting and form submission processing

Form data (name, email, phone, pension value, message) is transmitted to and stored on Netlify's servers when you submit the contact form.

Name and email address when you book a call via the Microsoft Bookings link.

5. How long we keep your data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by applicable law or regulation.

Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (see section 8).

This website uses a single first-party cookie to store your cookie consent preference. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
